1. Data we process

• Local web usage data: game progress and preferences stored in your browser through localStorage when that feature exists on the site.
• Google identity and account data in apps: Firebase UID, name and profile photo if you allow Google Sign-In in a Mata Tiempo app.
• Game progress in apps: coins, experience, avatar selection and other states needed for sync or continuity across devices.
• In-app purchases: confirmation of consumable or non-consumable purchases via Google Play Billing and/or Apple App Store (StoreKit). We do not store card data.
• Advertising data, when ads are shown: device advertising identifiers and technical signals such as language, approximate region, model or OS version to serve and measure personalized or contextual ads according to applicable law.
• Minimal technical data: app version, OS version, browser, language and basic server logs for operation, maintenance and security.

2. Purposes

• To provide the normal operation of the website and apps.
• To store local progress on the web and sync progress across devices when available in apps.
• To deliver purchases and restore them when applicable.
• To measure basic website usage with Firebase Analytics when the user grants consent.
• To show, measure and improve the advertising experience where ads are integrated.
• To provide support, prevent abuse and protect service security.

3. Legal bases (GDPR)

• Contract performance: provide the game, store or sync progress and process purchases.
• Consent: for Firebase Analytics on the website, for personalized ads in the EEA/UK and other jurisdictions where required.
• Legitimate interests: security, fraud or abuse prevention and, where allowed, non-personalized or contextual ads.

4. Processors and providers

• Hosting and web delivery providers used to publish matatiempo.net and generate technical access logs.
• Google/Firebase for web analytics on matatiempo.net and for authentication or progress storage in apps when those features are enabled.
• Google Play and Apple App Store for app distribution and payments.
• Advertising providers integrated in apps or on the web whenever ads are enabled.

5. Retention

On the web, locally stored progress remains in your browser until you delete it or clear site data. In apps, we keep your data while your account exists or as long as needed for the purposes described above. If you delete your account in a compatible app or request deletion by email, we will remove or unlink the relevant data.

6. Your rights

You may request access, rectification or deletion by emailing web@carlitopkr.com. On the web, you can also clear local data in your browser. For personalized ads, use your device settings or available consent dialogs.

7. Children

Mata Tiempo is not directed to children under 13. If you are a guardian and believe a child provided personal data, contact us so we can review and remove it when appropriate.

8. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards. No system is 100% secure, but we aim to limit unauthorized access, loss or misuse of data.

9. International transfers

Some providers may operate outside your country. Where applicable, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or similar safeguards.

10. Cookies, localStorage and server logs

matatiempo.net may use Firebase Analytics, which relies on cookies or similar identifiers to measure basic website usage when the user accepts it in the consent banner. The site may also use localStorage to store progress, preferences and the consent choice itself. The hosting provider may generate technical access logs for security, operations and maintenance. Ad SDKs, when present, may use similar technologies inside apps or ad-enabled surfaces.

11. Changes

We may update this policy to reflect legal, operational or product changes. We will update the last modified date on this page and, if relevant, may also notify users inside the app or website.
